All cylinders purchased from 'balloon.co.uk' are on hire. The above prices include 1 months rental.

THE CYLINDERS MUST BE RETURNED OR YOU BE CHARGED FOR RENTAL. You are paying for the helium inside the cylinder - you do not own the cylinder.

We try to give a realistic number for the amount of balloons each cylinder will inflate. Other suppliers may show different inflation quantities than above but we feel 750, 500 & 250 is a realistic number of 10" balloons for each cylinder.

Cylinders can be delivered and collected anywhere in mainland Britain for £33+vat (some areas in Scotland are restricted).

You can collect cylinders from a local Air Products agent - a £100 refundable deposit is required.

Push Valve

The Push Valve is tapered to easily fit all sizes of latex and valved latex balloons. The push valve simply 'clicks' into place, no spanner or twisting is required.

A flexi tip inflator for latex balloons. No spanner is required, the tip just 'clicks' into place before the cylinder is turned on.

How to get the most from your gas cylinder

Use a sizing template to get the most out of your cylinder. For example - 1 x MIDI X20 helium cylinder will inflate approx 300 x 12"balloons.  If you over inflate the balloons then you will get less out of the cylinder. The best thing to do is cut an 11" diameter hole (or Square) out of a box and use this as a guide when you first start inflating the balloons then you will get an idea of the size the balloons should be.

How to Build a Balloon Arch

Helium is great for building balloon arches because a floating line of balloons form a perfect natural arch. There is also no danger of arches falling over as they are floating. Balloon gas is also popular in balloon bouquets for table decorations.

Ribboned balloon valves

We also supply self sealing ribboned balloon valves. These are used when inflating large amounts of balloons for give aways. If you are using a small cylinder (100 balloons) you can hand tie your balloons with 5mm curling ribbon.

How Long Will My Balloons Float?

On average a 12" latex balloon will float approximately 20 hours once helium filled, Helium balloons float because the non-toxic gas is lighter than air and is environmentally friendly. Our 11" QULATEX balloons when treated with Hi-Float will float for up to 7 days, but they cannot be refilled. Latex balloons are 100% bio-degradable and made of natural rubber latex, they are therefore not suitable for people with latex allergy. An 18" Metallic Foil balloon will float 7 days.
